GENERAL BOOKING TERMS & GDPR
Here is a link to our booking conditions and what applies to parties.
SAUNA
“The sauna is broken – I’ve turned it to the max and nothing happens”
Do not turn too far when turning on the sauna, because then the TIMER will start, and the sauna will start much later.
One knob can be set to 1 (meaning 1 hour) – then the sauna will turn on immediately.
The second knob can be turned on at as high a temperature as you wish.
The sauna may only be on when you are in the accommodation.

DISHWASHER
“Dishwasher doesn’t work, it turns on but no water comes out”
Most often, it is the dishwasher shut-off that has been accidentally turned off on the kitchen faucet. This sits by the faucet by the sink. Turn it in the opposite direction and try again. See picture (small lever on the left)

If you discover errors or damage to the property, it must be reported to us at Åre Travel here Sometimes we can help immediately, otherwise as soon as we have the opportunity.
PARTY-FREE ACCOMMODATION
Parties and various games where alcohol is splashed on interiors are strictly prohibited. Read what applies here.

INTERNET
“Is there wifi in the apartment?”
Of course, there is free high-speed internet in all apartments. See your arrival email or arrival SMS for the wifi code. It is sometimes the same code as the internet name.
INDUCTION HOB
“It’s not possible to turn on the stove, we’ve pushed everywhere, but the heat won’t start”
There are a few things to keep in mind the first time you use an induction hob. Keep in mind that the pan has to be on the hob in order for it to be switched on and that it is much, much faster than a regular stove.

CODE LOCK – YALE DOORMAN
“How do we get keys to the apartment?”
We usually use code locks instead of keys for the entrance door and apartment, which means you don’t have to wait in line at reception.
Codes are sent to you (provided your payment has been made) via email 2 days before and SMS 1 day before arrival. If you have not received the codes, please contact us.
You open with * 6-digit code *
locks/unlocks from the inside with a knob
and locks the door from the outside with * (push the door if it doesn’t lock)
Your code is valid 30 minutes after check-out time, then the code is changed for a new guest.
Should the code lock be missing, there is a key box with a code, and instructions will be sent to you.
“The lock just keeps flashing, what’s wrong?”
Upon entering an incorrect code 5 times, all digits pulse slowly without sound for 3 minutes before a retry is allowed. Make sure you have the correct code and that you hit * before and after the code.
Wait until the lock stops flashing.

MARSHALL SPEAKERS
“How do I get the connection to Marschall Speakers?”
Some units are equipped with Marshall speakers
How to pair Marshall speakers with your phone:
Speakers are available in i.a. lgh. 132 and in Tottbacken’s apartments.
Instructions
1. Download the app: “Marshall” on your phone and follow the instructions.
2. Turn on the Marshall speaker by pulling and holding the power lever towards the back of the speaker until the “on” sound is played.
3. Press the “Source” button for 2 seconds so the Bluetooth indicator light starts flashing
4. Turn on Bluetooth on your own device
5. Connect with Acton II
6. The speaker’s Bluetooth indicator stops flashing when the two are connected and starts to glow.
7. Play your favorite songs

CHROME CAST TV
“How do I use chrome cast?”
Some apartments are equipped with the streaming accessory Google Chrome cast. So there are no cable channels, but you can stream Netflix, YouTube etc. via the apps.
How to turn on TV with Chrome Cast:
Turn on the tv on the long big black remote control on the “on” button.
Start the Chromecast via the small white control at the bottom left of the “On” button.
Now a menu will appear on which apps you can choose from. Ex. Netflix.
Google Nest Hub
The white plate is called the Google Nest Hub. It is a voice-controlled help with visible answers. Start by saying “Hey Google, can you xxx.”
Ex. “-Hey Google, can you play a Christmas song?”
Cast from computer/phone to TV
1. Make sure you’re logged in to wifi: T14! Solution: are2014!
2. Turn on the tv.
3.Go to what you want to cast from your mobile
4. Click on the casting symbol at the top right. Looks like a box and a small wifi symbol on the left side.
5. Then choose casta to “Family room” if you live upstairs.
Or cast to “Family room 2” if you live downstairs.
6. Now just click “Play” on your device.
SMART TV
“How do I use a Smart TV?”
Some apartments are equipped with so-called Smart TV. So there are no cable channels, but you can stream Netflix, YouTube etc. via the apps.
How to start Smart TV :
Turn on the tvn black remote control on the “on” button.
Now a menu will appear on which apps you can choose from. Ex. Netflix.
If the picture is black or you want to change the app – press the ‘Smart Hub’ button on the controller.
If the Smart TV lost contact with the network
The network is set via menu when you started the TV, it should be preset but sometimes it may have lost contact.

PARKING
“I have reserved parking, but need another parking”
There is a shortage of parking spaces in Åre. There is 1 parking space per apartment to rent. It must be booked in advance (preferably 2 days) via us.
Sometimes we can offer an extra parking space, please let us know when booking. There is otherwise extra parking in the ICA garage, which is operated by Q-park.

“Where do I throw the rubbish and waste sorting”
Each residence has a station for sorting garbage. See your accommodation tab where you can find the station.
At Coop in Åre, there is a waste sorting station.
Rubbish must never be disposed of outside your accommodation in the corridor or on the terrace.
Garbage left behind is directly debited with SEK 500 after your departure.
Garbage rooms are available at the Skistar shop, bins are also located in the curve closest to VM 8
304: The waste room is located at the east entrance on level 2 for sorting cardboard, metal, plastic, glass, and household waste.

There is a waste room in the courtyard for sorting cardboard, metal, plastic, and glass. Household rubbish is thrown away in the corridor door to the left of the courtyard.
There is a garbage room in the yard between the entrance and the parking lot. Packaging such as glass, paper, metal, plastic and recycled paper can be left at Åre Municipality’s recycling station at Coop/Systembolaget (S:t Olavsvägen).
Garbage room on Level 1, off the back entrance, open (Entrance code same as main entrance)
Waste room is located in the side building. Follow the instructions for source sorting.
Below the house towards the road to the train station, green bins.
Garbage can be found in the small house on the left side of the entrance.
Green bins at the parking lot on the other side of the road.
The garbage room is outside the garage, here you sort and throw away your garbage. The key is the same as for your apartment.
Tottvillan’s rubbish is thrown away in the house to the right of the barrier by the road up to Tottbacken. The door can be a little difficult to get open, make sure it is closed properly when entering the code and grip when opening. You have received the code in the arrival email and SMS.
CLEANING
Regardless of whether you clean yourself or purchase the service from us, the following must be done upon departure:
Remove any rented sheets and put in the hall, turn on the dishwasher, and throw away rubbish (otherwise costs SEK 500)

If you have chosen to clean yourself, the apartment must be left as it was on arrival. Dust, vacuum, and wet-dry surfaces as needed. The dishes must be washed and put in the cupboards, the bed linen removed from the beds and the rubbish taken out to the bins.

Inadequate cleaning can lead to us having to call the emergency room, which entails subsequent billing, we take reference photos and charge your card/send an additional invoice. It is always cheaper to book cleaning in advance.
If you are unsure whether you have done enough, you can request a review from us, must be booked in advance.
If you have purchased final city, you only need to do the following: Deduct any rented sheets and put in the hall, turn on the dishwasher and throw away rubbish.
ATTENTION! You have purchased a cleaning after normal use. Should we discover that you have not done the above, or that it needs to be cleaned after careless use, an extra charge for cleaning will be issued.
BEDLINEN
For everyone’s comfort: Bed linen is mandatory to use (pillowcases, sheets, and duvet covers)
If you have forgotten to bring it, there is a simple bed linen set in your wardrobe, opened bag will be charged SEK 115 per person and stay. Bed linen can easily be rented from us.
Sleeping in the beds without bedding is charged SEK 500 per bed because we then need to clean the entire bed.
DISTURBANCE
In general, it must be quiet so that everyone can rest from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. If you are disturbed by neighbours, contact us.
If you suspect a crime, call 112
In some of the accommodations we have, you can call the security company directly. See what applies in your accommodation on your booking confirmation.
