Fire safety

There is an evacuation plan on your apartment door, read it on arrival.

A fire alarm, fire blanket and fire extinguisher are available in the apartment. The fire extinguisher is kept in the hall by the front door. Fire blanket hangs on a hook next to the stove in the kitchen.

In case of fire, call 112.
Then try to put out the fire. In case of danger to human life, evacuate the house immediately.

If the fire alarm sounds but there is no fire, ventilate the smoke. The fire alarm in your apartment can only be heard locally in the apartment.

In the stairwell, the fire alarm is connected to the alarm center in the stairwell.

All apartments have a spa bath on the balcony and this can be rented for an additional fee of SEK 2990 per stay.
After ordering, you will receive a link with instructions. After you have read and approved these, a code will be sent to you to unlock your Spa.

Everyone who bathes must have showered and washed off make-up, soap and perfume before bathing.

With the electronic control panel placed at the edge, you control bubbles and lighting.

Avoid immersing your head in the water – hair and agents remain in the water and make it unfresh. Use a hat if it’s cold outside.

When you have finished the bath, close the lid carefully. There is a red lever on the left side, pull it to get the lid on, DO NOT FORCE. The thermos lid must be closed when you are not bathing.

Do not use electronic equipment near spas.

The bath temperature is set at 37.5 degrees, which is what is recommended for adults. People with heart problems, high or low blood pressure, diabetes, pregnant or under medication should consult a doctor before use.

Out of consideration for other guests, it is not permitted to use the spa bath after 11 p.m.

To avoid bacteria in the spa, we want you to follow the instructions for use.

In addition to the Legionella bacteria, Seudomonas Aeruginosa is the bacteria that most often establishes itself in the spa. This type of spa bacteria can cause eczema and ear problems, among other things.

To ensure the quality of the water, the spa is inspected twice a week, Sunday and Thursday, by Åre Byservice.

Improper use that leads to water change and/or repair can be hazardous to health and is charged per hour according to the current price list.

SAUNA

THE MODE ON PLAN 3:
The unit is always switched on with a so-called “low-power mode”. Open the lid and turn on a few scoops of water until you get the desired heat and humidity. Now the sauna is ready to use.

Pour water on the unit to increase the humidity and heat to your liking. At the end of the sauna, the lid is always closed as you can take advantage of the fact that the low power keeps the sauna in an “always-ready mode”.

This sauna is not a “traditional dry sauna”. The sauna unit has a very large amount of stone (almost 100 kg of stone), which enables sauna bathing in lower temperatures but with a higher humidity. You then do not have to leave the sauna because the oxygen runs out, but the sauna session feels pleasant. According to modern science, it is recommended to keep the temperature below 70 degrees.

In order to achieve a good temperature with good humidity, it is required that you add a lot of water during the time you baste. The large amount of rock allows it to evaporate an extremely large amount of water.

There is a traditional sauna here, description is outside the sauna.

Door code
At the house’s three entrances there are door phones where you either enter the short code or press the respective apartment button to get in touch with the person you want to visit. The intercom is located next to the kitchen where you answer and then open using button no. 1 and let the guest in. You will receive the codes by email about three days before arrival.

The ski storage room is located on level 4 in direct connection to the slope. Since ski equipment is bulky, gets wet during the day and may require a little ski care during the week, there are a couple of storage benches, a boot dryer and also a lockable storage space for each apartment.

Please note that sports equipment must be stored in ski storage or in your own car. It is not permitted to bring equipment into the apartment or public areas. Please don’t wear boots in corridors and on wooden floors.

On Level 4 is also the house’s lobby with a large-screen TV and a changing room with a shower.

These facilities are practical if you want to ski during the arrival or departure days.

Espresso machine
Lift the lid on top of the coffee machine and check that it is filled with beans. Fill the water tank on the right side by pulling it towards you and filling it under the faucet. Put the water tank back and check that it is in the correct position.
Start the machine and wait while it “warms up” and rinses. Then place the cup underneath and choose between large or small coffee in one or two cups.

The apartments are designed to be functional for skiers and provide peace and relaxation for all guests. Before you start
Empty the ashtrays under the grate in the ash drawer. No embers should remain when emptying. The ashes must be stored in the black fireproof ash box with a lid on.

Put up the firewood
Crumple up 1-2 pages of a newspaper and place it well into the center of the stove on the grate. Lay the wood horizontally crosswise. Start with less really dry firewood, 4 – 5 logs are enough to start with.

Light the fire
Turn the smoke fan on the outside of the brick to position 4. Light the paper and then leave the door ajar for a few minutes (5 – 10 depending on how cold the brick is). When the fire is out, open the valve controls and close the doors. It is now possible to turn the fan down to 2. It is important for a successful fire to have a good draft, which the hatch on the gap in the initial stage creates but be careful that no embers spread out in the meantime.

Add firewood as you go
When adding wood, you should open the door slowly to avoid smoke. Even out the glow before adding new wood. Then the new logs ignite more easily. Add 2 – 3 logs at a time.

The brick is on the outside of the house and if it’s cold outside it can be a little extra difficult to get the fire going because of the cold chimney. You then have to have a little extra patience before you have gained momentum on the fire. It can help to light some paper and hold it up in the chimney, then the air in the chimney heats up and the draft increases.

Fire blankets are available next to the gas stove in the kitchen area and fire extinguishers are in the hall/laundry room. Smoke detectors are located in several places in the apartment. Should smoke alarms start to wail because smoke has entered the apartment, ventilate by opening the balcony door. The fire alarm is not connected to any central fire alarm.
If a chimney fire occurs or is feared, the flue gas fan must be closed, the valves on the doors and hatches must be closed immediately. If necessary, contact the fire brigade for extinguishing. Contact the housekeeper / property emergency immediately.

Extra firewood
Firewood is available during the stay in a box outside the front door on floor 400 and on floor 300 the firewood is out on the balcony. If extra firewood is desired, this is charged at SEK 95/bag, ordered via Mood Manager no later than 14.00 the day before.

In all bedrooms there is storage for personal belongings and the hall’s shelf system contains ski clothes, mittens, hats and more. Of course there is also a drying cabinet for wet clothes.

iron and ironing board are in the cleaning cabinet while detergents are stored next to the washing machine.

hairdryer can be found in one of the bathroom cabinets. Valuables can be stored in the lockable safe in the closet in the hall.

• Sort the laundry. Empty all pockets. Remove any stains from the textiles before they are washed, preferably when fresh.
• Start the washing machine. The lighting of the drum lights up.
• Select the desired washing program, the selected program will be displayed in the display. Select the desired program with buttons-or + and confirm with the OK button.
• Wait until the display switched to the program selection.
• Press the Washing/Drying button So many times that only the control light on washing lights.

• Close the door.

• When the program is completed, turn the program selector to stop, open the door and remove the laundry and turn off the machine.
