In the middle of Scandinavia’s best ski area is Tottbacken with exclusive holiday accommodation in a classic mountain environment. Here you live stylishly and comfortably in spacious apartments with a magnificent view of Renfjället and Lake Åresjön. Ski in/ski out location next to the Tott lift allows you to put on your skis outside the door. Tottbacken is one of Åre’s finest apartment properties. The house is privately owned and has only six apartments, four of which are rented out. The apartments have most things that increase well-being with a sauna, fireplace and a well-equipped kitchen. Everything from lockable ski storage with a bench just a few steps from the slope to on-site interior design in beautiful materials exudes the same care for details.
The simplicity of being able to park in our heated garage and take the lift up to the apartment floor and ski storage. On floor 4 we have our lobby with a TV and there is also a changing room for later departures than the check-out time. The accommodation has everything that enhances comfort, from DVDs with films that the children like to a well-equipped kitchen where those interested in cooking will find all the utensils for good food and drink. An evening in front of the fireplace after a sauna or a bath on the balcony is the perfect end to a day in Åre. Tottbacken offers genuine accommodation with safe and personal service.
With Sweden’s best skiing outside the door
Åre is Sweden’s leading alpine year-round destination where everything is within easy walking distance, restaurants, entertainment and shopping.
The village has attracted tourists for over a hundred years and hosted three Alpine World Championships, in 1954, 2007 and 2019. The skiing is at the highest level with slopes of all levels of difficulty – from playful family areas to beautiful off-piste. In addition, there are fine cross-country trails and magnificent mountain scenery for those who like to go for a walk. Summer and winter there is much to discover.

Our four-bed apartments are on the third floor with a south-facing balcony. The apartments have their own spa bath on the terrace as an option for an extra cost. An extra luxury to come home to a hot bath after a day on the mountain. The accommodation has two bedrooms and a bright, open-plan layout with living room and kitchen in one, which provides the opportunity for pleasant socializing for our guests.
You park the car in our heated garage and take the elevator straight up to the apartment floor. On level 4 is the ski storage room where you put on your ski boots and go straight out onto the slope to the Tottliften.
In addition to easy access, the house also has a pleasant lobby with a TV and a changing room with a shower – practical if you want to ski on the days of arrival or departure.

Amenities:
Both bedrooms have their own WC with shower. In one of the bathrooms is also the sauna and the apartment’s combined washing machine/dryer. The bedrooms have built-in storage for personal belongings.
The living room and the kitchen are connected in an open plan that makes it easy to socialize. There is a dining area, fireplace, seating area, TV and stereo, and when the weather is warmer, the doors can be opened for extra social space on the terrace outside.
