5 things to do on a rainy day in Åre:
Spa in Åre
Level Spa at Copperhill Mountain Lodge in Åre Björnen has a soothing atmosphere with an infinity pool and outdoor jacuzzi with a magical view of Åreskutan. Also a long swimming pool several saunas and a cold shower. If you are brave, there is also an exit for snow bathers. Tip! Combine with their good breakfast buffet + spa = SEK 295.
Jump at Jumpyard Åre
Jump and climb around in the childishly fun Jumpyard in Åre. An indoor trampoline park with climbing walls, obstacle courses and Sky Rider where you ride in a track at the top of the roof. There is also a climbing wall where you can decide the degree of difficulty yourself.
Incredibly fun for both children and adults!
Dinner experience at Buustamon Fjällgård
On Kalfjället in Ullådalen is Buustamons fjällgård, which has its own brewery and serves Jämtland food with local ingredients. In the winter you will be picked up by trolley from the Ullådalen parking lot and in the summer a short little mountain walk.
Tip! Top off dinner by adding a hot tub.
Mountain hiking and top it off with a sauna
Visit Storulvån’s mountains and take a short hike in the rain. Warm up in the sauna and finish with board games on the sofas in the loft. Tip! The restaurant has a large selection of local drinks.
Grill hot sandwiches in the open barn
Sitting under a roof with a warm fire while the rain is pattering outside is so cozy. In Fröå Gruva there is an open barn with an incredibly nice view of the mountains.
